Fascial Stretch Therapy at Flow Motion
Feel better. Move freely. Live without limits.
What Is Fascia?
Your Body’s Hidden Connective Web
Think of fascia as a three-dimensional web of connective tissue that runs beneath your skin and wraps around every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in your body. When it's healthy, fascia is fluid and flexible, allowing movement to feel effortless and pain-free. When it becomes restricted through injury, inactivity, repetitive movement, stress, or poor posture, it can tighten like shrink wrap around your joints and muscles, limiting your range of motion and creating discomfort that traditional stretching simply can't reach.
Because fascia is continuous throughout the body, one restriction rarely stays in one place. A tight hip can create tension in your lower back. An old ankle injury can quietly affect the way your knee and hip move years later. Addressing the full fascial system - not just the spot that hurts - is what makes FST so effective.
The Therapy
What is Fascia Stretch Therapy?
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, table-based assisted stretching method developed through the Stretch to Win Institute that targets the fascia and joint capsules - the deepest layers of connective tissue in the body. Unlike traditional stretching that isolates individual muscles, FST works with the entire fascial network using traction, rhythmic movement, and stabilizing straps to release tension at its source.
It is completely pain-free. Sessions are done fully clothed on a padded table, and your only job is to breathe and relax while your therapist guides your body through slow, flowing, multi-directional movements. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing, almost meditative, and leave feeling noticeably looser, lighter, and more balanced.
How FST Compares
There are plenty of ways to stretch. Here's how FST stands apart.
vs. Traditional Stretching
Traditional stretching targets isolated muscles, usually in a static hold. FST targets entire fascial lines and joint capsules using traction and flowing, multi-plane movement, reaching restrictions that isolated stretching simply cannot.
vs. Massage
Massage works on soft tissue through pressure and manipulation. FST works through movement and traction, targeting the joint capsule and fascial web rather than surface muscle tissue. The two complement each other beautifully.
vs. Yoga
Yoga involves active poses that you move into and hold yourself. FST is fully assisted - your therapist moves you - allowing your nervous system to relax completely and enabling a deeper, more effective release than active effort alone.
vs. Franchise Stretch Studios
Certified FST practitioners train through the Stretch to Win Institute with extensive coursework in fascial anatomy, joint biomechanics, safe traction techniques, and hands-on practice. Sessions are fully customized and adapt in real time to how your body is actually responding - not a predetermined routine.

Who It’s For?
FST is for anyone who wants to feel better in their body.
Athletes & Active People
Whether you're training hard, chasing weekend adventures, or trying to stay injury-free, FST improves joint range, tissue resilience, and recovery time so you can perform at your best and bounce back faster.
Desk Workers & Those with Sedentary Lifestyles
Sitting for long periods creates predictable fascial restrictions in the hips, back, and shoulders. FST addresses those patterns directly and helps restore the movement your body was designed for.
Those Seeking Stress Relief & Better Sleep
The rhythmic, flowing nature of FST naturally calms the nervous system, reduces cortisol, and promotes a deep relaxation response that carries over long after your session ends.
Healthy Aging
Maintaining mobility, joint health, and fluid movement becomes increasingly important as we age. FST supports all of these without strain, making it a valuable part of any long-term wellness routine.
People Living with Chronic Pain
FST works gently to release long-standing fascial restrictions, scar tissue, and compensatory patterns that develop after injury or years of tension - without aggravating existing conditions.
People on Their Feet All Day
Nurses, teachers, tradespeople — anyone logging long hours on their feet accumulates tension throughout the lower body and back. FST provides real, lasting relief.
People Looking to Improve Flexibility & Mobility
If you've plateaued with stretching, yoga, or other modalities, FST often produces results that feel impossible to achieve on your own, helping you find that "unlocked" feeling many clients describe after their first session.
Post-Surgery Recovery
With physician clearance FST can gently support recovery by addressing compensatory patterns, improving circulation, and restoring mobility in surrounding tissue once healing has progressed sufficiently.
Your First Visit
What to Expect
A conversation first
Your first session begins with a short conversation — we'll talk through your health history, goals, any areas of tightness or past injuries, and what you're hoping to achieve.
01
Comfortable from the start
You'll lie on a padded table, fully clothed in loose athletic wear. Stabilizing straps help your body fully relax into each movement — there's nothing you need to do except breathe.
02
Fully customized, in real time
I'll check in throughout and adjust based on how your body is responding — never forcing, always following. The session adapts to you, not a predetermined protocol.
03
75 minutes, lasting results
Most people leave their first session feeling noticeably looser, lighter, and more at ease. Many notice meaningful changes after just one or two visits, with more lasting results developing over a series of three to six sessions.
